A SNEAK PEEK AT OUR SOCIAL LIFE!
Today was a powerful reminder of what community looks like in action.
A group of our residents, along with a few of our amazing staff members, spent time today volunteering with Feed My Starving Children. Together they packed meals that will be sent to children and families around the world who are facing hunger.
It was incredible to see everyone working side by side—scooping, sealing, boxing, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Moments like this show just how big our hearts are and how much can be accomplished when people come together for a meaningful cause.

Staff Spotlight: Meet Simone!
We’re excited to introduce Simone, one of our amazing Resident Assistants here at Talamore! Simone has been part of our team for 9 months, and in that time she has made such a positive impact on both our residents and staff.
What Simone enjoys most about working at Talamore is building relationships with our residents and spending time with them each day. She says what motivates her most is knowing she can make a positive difference in their everyday lives.
One of her favorite memories so far was the Talamore Fair, enjoying the fun fair food and seeing the residents so happy and full of joy.
Simone is originally from Richton Park, Illinois. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time being a mom. A fun fact about Simone is that she comes from a big family with 9 siblings!
Simone has been working in the healthcare field for 15 years and says she truly loves what she does. We are so lucky to have her as part of the Talamore family!

Today at Talamore Senior Living, we were excited to welcome Sustainable Safari for a truly unique and interactive experience. Our residents had the opportunity to meet up close and learn about a baby goat, a young gator, a tenrec, a Rex rabbit, and even a porcupine. Our Safari guide, John, shared interesting facts about each animal and answered questions, making the experience both fun and informative. This special visit created such a lively and memorable atmosphere throughout the community.

Over the weekend in Memory Care at Talamore Senior Living, our residents spent time getting creative with watercolor painting. Activities like watercolor painting are a wonderful way for residents to relax, express themselves, and enjoy a peaceful, creative moment together. It was a lovely weekend filled with color, smiles, and beautiful artwork.

Residents and staff joined in by wearing their favorite shades of blue, creating a festive and spirited atmosphere throughout the community. Here at Talamore, our weekly Happy Hour is always a highlight, and this Friday’s space-themed celebration was truly out of this world. Residents enjoyed our specialty drink, the Galaxy Glow, featuring pink lemonade, Sprite, blue curaçao, vodka, and a touch of edible glitter for a sparkling finish.
We also served delicious treats including Superman ice cream and cosmic brownies, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere. It is always wonderful to see our residents gathered together, enjoying great company, themed refreshments, and an afternoon filled with smiles.

We were joyed to welcome Weber/St John to Talamore for a beautiful live music performance. Their piano and violin selections created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the community and truly brightened everyone’s afternoon.

Talamore was full of color and celebration as we marked Mardi Gras in style. Residents enjoyed painting festive mask decorating, getting creative with bright feathers, glitter, and classic purple, green, and gold designs.
