Today at Talamore Senior Living, residents came together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a festive Happy Hour full of fun, laughter, and holiday cheer. Residents savored delicious treats like caramel corn and pinwheels, and our specialty drink, Leprechaun Lemonade, was a favorite throughout the afternoon.
With laughter in the air and a little Irish luck on our side, it was truly a sham-rockin’ good time for all!

Special Visitor Alert!
Today our residents had a wonderful visit from a very special guest — a sweet dog named Oscar! Oscar spent time making his rounds, getting lots of pets, cuddles, and bringing plenty of smiles along the way.
It’s amazing how much joy a furry friend can bring in just one visit. Thank you, Oscar, for brightening everyone’s day. We can’t wait to see you again!

Residents at Talamore Senior Living enjoyed a special visit from Chosen Threads on Friday for a fashion show. The event gave residents the opportunity to see a variety of stylish and comfortable clothing options right here in our community.

Residents at Talamore Senior Living recently dove into an Under the Sea–themed Happy Hour, enjoying an afternoon full of laughter, great conversation, and ocean-inspired fun. The event gave residents a chance to unwind, connect with friends, and soak in the festive atmosphere.
A standout of the afternoon was the specialty drink, the Shark Attack, which quickly became a crowd favorite. Residents also savored delicious crab cakes that paired perfectly with the refreshing beverage.
Gatherings like this provide a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together, socialize, and enjoy unique experiences that add a little extra fun to the day.

Today was a powerful reminder of what community looks like in action.
A group of our residents, along with a few of our amazing staff members, spent time today volunteering with Feed My Starving Children. Together they packed meals that will be sent to children and families around the world who are facing hunger.
It was incredible to see everyone working side by side—scooping, sealing, boxing, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Moments like this show just how big our hearts are and how much can be accomplished when people come together for a meaningful cause.

Staff Spotlight: Meet Simone!
We’re excited to introduce Simone, one of our amazing Resident Assistants here at Talamore! Simone has been part of our team for 9 months, and in that time she has made such a positive impact on both our residents and staff.
What Simone enjoys most about working at Talamore is building relationships with our residents and spending time with them each day. She says what motivates her most is knowing she can make a positive difference in their everyday lives.
One of her favorite memories so far was the Talamore Fair, enjoying the fun fair food and seeing the residents so happy and full of joy.
Simone is originally from Richton Park, Illinois. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time being a mom. A fun fact about Simone is that she comes from a big family with 9 siblings!
Simone has been working in the healthcare field for 15 years and says she truly loves what she does. We are so lucky to have her as part of the Talamore family!

Yesterday we hosted a meet and greet with our Executive Director, Danielle. Residents enjoyed cookies while asking lots of great questions and getting to know her better. It was a wonderful time of conversation, laughter, and connection. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to welcome Danielle!

Our residents designed their own unique snails, each one filled with personality, color, and charm. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity shine as their projects came to life.

Today at Talamore Senior Living, we were excited to welcome Sustainable Safari for a truly unique and interactive experience. Our residents had the opportunity to meet up close and learn about a baby goat, a young gator, a tenrec, a Rex rabbit, and even a porcupine. Our Safari guide, John, shared interesting facts about each animal and answered questions, making the experience both fun and informative. This special visit created such a lively and memorable atmosphere throughout the community.

Over the weekend in Memory Care at Talamore Senior Living, our residents spent time getting creative with watercolor painting. Activities like watercolor painting are a wonderful way for residents to relax, express themselves, and enjoy a peaceful, creative moment together. It was a lovely weekend filled with color, smiles, and beautiful artwork.

Today at Talamore Senior Living, we hosted our Dressed in Blue Happy Hour, bringing everyone together for an afternoon of fun! Residents and staff joined in by wearing their favorite shades of blue, creating a festive and spirited atmosphere throughout the community. Here at Talamore, our weekly Happy Hour is always a highlight, and this Friday’s space-themed celebration was truly out of this world. Residents enjoyed our specialty drink, the Galaxy Glow, featuring pink lemonade, Sprite, blue curaçao, vodka, and a touch of edible glitter for a sparkling finish.
We also served delicious treats including Superman ice cream and cosmic brownies, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere. It is always wonderful to see our residents gathered together, enjoying great company, themed refreshments, and an afternoon filled with smiles.
