Today, we held our very first Veterans Club meeting here at Talamore, a meaningful step in creating a space for our veterans to connect, share stories, and honor their service together.
A heartfelt thank you to Bob Dolan from the American Legion Woodbury Post 501 for leading the discussion and helping. We are also deeply grateful to the American Legion for their support and dedication to our nation’s heroes.
This is just the beginning and we look forward to many more meaningful moments with our Veterans Club.

We had a special treat at Talamore today with Lydia, she spent her summer volunteering her talent of playing the piano for the residents.🎵💛

Hear ye, hear ye! Today at Talamore, our happy hour transformed into a Renaissance Fair fit for royalty. Residents and staff alike stepped into the medieval spirit, nobly raising their goblets, enjoying royal refreshments, and partaking in merriment worthy of a king.
King Bob made a most majestic appearance, feasting upon a mighty chicken drummy with the appetite of a true sovereign. The court was alive with laughter, music, and revelry, a prescription for joy and community well filled.
A noble thanks to all who dressed the part and joined in this festive, historically inspired gathering. Special thanks to Chef Rob for the amazing food that truly made the feast fit for a king.

Today we took our residents out for a little summer adventure to get ice cream at Culver’s! 😊 There's nothing like a scoop (or two!) of frozen custard to brighten the day. The laughter, conversations, and happy faces made it such a special outing.

Yesterday was all about berries at Talamore 🍓
We kicked things off with our Dietitian’s Dish session, where Unidine’s Chef Tammy Lundstrom gave an informative and fun presentation on the power of berries and their many health benefits. Residents enjoyed a flavorful berry-inspired treat while learning how these little fruits pack a nutritious punch.
Right after that, Chef Rob stepped in for a live demo of his famous strawberry sauce, which we’ve been loving at our waffle bar. Check out our last post to see more from Chef Rob’s demonstration and a peek at the sweet topping in action.
