Our happy hour on Friday turned into a trackside celebration as residents got into the Kentucky Derby spirit! With fun hats, big smiles, and lots of cheering for their favorite “horses,” the energy in the room was contagious.

We spent the afternoon playing bean bags, cheering each other on with every toss and celebrating every point. Whether you were on the red team or the blue team didn’t really matter—what mattered was the laughter, the encouragement, and the joy of being together.

We had such a fun and eventful afternoon in the gardens with our memory care residents on Friday, as we brought the excitement of the Kentucky Derby to life with our very own horse races!
From rolling dice and moving their horses closer to the finish line, to sharing lots of laughs and some friendly competition. The joy and energy were contagious!
