We had a special young visitor in Memory Care today, and it was heartwarming to see the impact. Our residents’ eyes light up around young children, whose presence brings instant joy. Their giggles and laughter are truly contagious, brightening the day and lifting spirits throughout the community

Music has a beautiful way of bringing joy to the moment. During our Johnny Cash exercise time, even from a wheelchair, you could still feel the rhythm, enjoy the music, and feel like you were dancing all over again. That smile says everything—proof that joy and connection can be felt right here and now!

Decorating our home for Valentine’s Day 🩷 !! Residents searched for letters to spell their names, helped one another, and enjoyed a fun craft activity together made for a fun Tuesday afternoon!

Residents in the memory care community enjoyed an engaging game of hot potato, an activity that promotes hand-eye coordination while encouraging movement and quick reactions. We had a wonderful afternoon playing Pictionary together. Splitting into teams and taking turns drawing was a fun way to stay active, keep our minds engaged, and enjoy each other’s company. Even when it pushed some of us outside our comfort zones, we encouraged and cheered one another on. It was a great game for a large group and a joyful reminder of how important it is to stay active and have fun together

This craft was more than painting rocks. Each person chose a special sticker with personal meaning and placed it into their rock, creating a small but heartfelt reminder of expression, creativity, and connection

Baking for the resident council meeting is less about work and more about friends spending time together. The real highlight? The quality control crew at the end, bravely sacrificing themselves to taste-test the cookies…. lol

We are grateful to have a new chair in our memory care unit that we can use during our special pamper days. These afternoons give the ladies a beauty-shop experience as they relax, get their hair curled, and feel pampered. Pictured is one of our residents enjoying her curls today! Love the smile!
