We had a wonderful Veterans Day program on Friday at Talamore! 🇺🇸 A special thank-you to Moments Hospice for providing our residents with certificates, pins, and a delicious cake to share. It was such a meaningful way to honor and celebrate our veterans. ❤️

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Talamore 🇺🇸
We’re proud to share that Talamore now has a new Wall of Honor, a special tribute dedicated to the brave men and women who have served our country.
During our Veterans Day program on Friday, we had the revealing of the Wall of Honor, a meaningful moment where residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate and thank our veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and service.
This new addition to our community stands as a lasting reminder of our deep gratitude and respect for all who have worn the uniform.

This afternoon, residents enjoyed a relaxing fall craft project to celebrate the Thanksgiving season. It was a wonderful way to spend time together and create something festive to display when family and friends come to visit for the holiday.

Today’s Open House at Talamore featured our much-anticipated Bake Off, and what a delicious display it was! Guests enjoyed moving through a buffet line of homemade treats crafted by our talented Talamore staff — from caramel apple bars and zucchini bars to lemon cream cake, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and more.
Warm coffee and hot apple cider made the perfect companions to all the sweet flavors.
Everyone had the chance to vote for their favorite treat, and we can’t wait to share which tasty creation takes the top spot! 🏆 Stay tuned — winners will be announced soon!

No matter what we’re doing, it’s the time together that we love most! Our residents had such a great time making adorable donut hole acorn treats — dipped in chocolate, covered with sprinkles, and finished with a tiny pretzel stem. They looked so cute, tasted amazing, and sharing them with friends made it even sweeter! 🍩🌰💛

This afternoon was full of laughter and joy as our memory care residents celebrated Halloween together! Everyone looked adorable in their costumes — it was so much fun to see all the creative (and sometimes quite funny!) outfits. The room was filled with smiles as we enjoyed hot cocoa, popcorn, and a lively target game where candy prizes added to the fun. It was a wonderful afternoon of togetherness, laughter, and sweet memories shared by all

One of the most moving moments of our costume party was when one of our residents proudly put on his original Air Force uniform — the same one he wore so many years ago. As he adjusted the jacket and straightened his cap, you could see the pride and emotion shining in his eyes. Though the uniform may fit a little differently now, the honor and spirit it represents have never faded. The joy on his face said it all — a beautiful reminder of service, sacrifice, and the memories that still live so vividly in his heart.
